Well Peeps..

There was a Jazz game tonight... and... I didn't even care. If any of you know me very well.. that should furrow your brow. I like to consider myself a pretty faithful Jazz Fan.. but tonight .. this is something different. I didn't even get on the Jazz website to see the highlights or the final score or even to see how many points Jefferson put up, let alone, checking out how the new team members did with their first time as Jazz players. I'm confident that all these changes with the Jazz has been bad for my health. I'm sure the changes will be a good thing in the long run but it would be nice to have a good stable team without all the undermined drama that happens behind the scenes. I will probably watch the next game and for sure the next next game and get back into it. But, I need to gather my thoughts and come back to it when I'm ready... and I just wasn't ready for that tonight. haha most of you reading have either given up on this post or in your mind thinking (blah blah blah) If so .. go away.. go scratch your butt. haha jk (this would make my mother so proud...)
ANYWAY, I surely hope my tomboyish ways haven't completely turned you OFF.. but I don't particularly want to turn you ON either..
ANYWAY, Tonight we went to dinner with some friends that we haven't seen for awhile. It was fun to see them and to get out of the house. Tomorrow I'm hoping to go see my cute little niece and see the rest of the fam. Did I mention I have the cutest niece and nephew ever!!! In fact! just to prove it I'll post pictures. RIGHT.... NOW.  haha peace!

This Is Michael!!!

 This Is Alyse!!!

This isn't all of them! I have the cutest nieces and nephews on The Beardall side too! I'll have to track down some pictures and post them soon!

It was a good day!

I know some people get annoyed when people go off about how wonderful their life is. But, my opinion is this... If you didn't want to hear about my life then why did you open my blog to read it?? It's not like I'm going off on how wonderful my life is on Facebook and your forced to read it because, it's up on the "news feed". I DO mind when people constantly go on and on about their wonderful lives on Facebook. Every once in awhile is TOTALLY FINE. But, when its almost every post, it gets a bit annoying. It's almost like they are trying to cover up something. Insecurities on Facebook.. hmm what part of that seems wrong? haha. I'm digging myself a hole. But, you get my point.

Needless to say, I'm going to talk about how wonderful my life is on this post. Ready Go!

To start the morning off, I wake up (no Tyler in site), walk to the bathroom, walk into the kitchen. There I see a breakfast tray with my favorite cereal (Oh's) with the spoon I like (the small ones), toast, vitamins, a glass of orange juice and a napkin. Holding either end of tray was Tyler with a smirk on his face (like a child who got caught doing something sneaky). His next words were "you weren't suppose to wake up". I felt bad but I'm a light sleeper so it was bound to happen. So I ran down the hall and got back into bed and waited with a big smile on my face, feeling like the luckiest girl in the world (because I am.. if you didn't know that already). The door slid open and there's Tyler with the biggest grin on his face. "Here's your breakfast, It's an early Valentines surprise!" I just laughed and thanked him. I made him go get a bowl of cereal so I didn't have to eat alone. He went in to the next bedroom and came back with a "dry erase marker" and wrote on the tray (upside down so it would be right side up for me)  "I LOVE YOU!" (the tray is like a "white board" on the surface) He just laughed and walked away. haha I'm so lucky to have such a great husband. He's so perfect for me. We spent the morning eating breakfast in bed together. It was the best early Valentines gift ever. It made me feel so special. We went to church and came back home and got into our sweats. We had tuna fish sandwiches for lunch and watched the Newlywed Game for a little while. I took a nap while Tyler played the piano.

I'm so thankful for my best friend and the fact that I get to be with him for eternity makes me blush. I'm excited for our future together and to achieve our goals. We are so blessed to have each other to lean on and to strengthen each other. He's my "safe haven" and my "release" and the one I can always count on to be there. I know he'd do anything for me. I know he'd do anything to make me happy.  He's a good listener and a good councilor. He's my best friend and I'm so in love with him and I am so so happy.

So here's your early mushy gushy Valentines post from the Beardall's!

Oh, How Long The Winter Has Been.

Is it just me or does January and February just drag on and on? I've been posting a couple of pictures up and it makes me want to go fishing, hiking and get a tan... all those kinds of things. It seems like Spring's never going to come!!! I'm still getting use to knowing what to write in a blog. Maybe, I'll just talk about the here and now.
First and foremost, I teared up today because of the sudden announcement of Jerry Sloan's resignation as Head Coach of the Utah Jazz after 22 years. It came as shock to everyone. It feels like he died or something... and to see him give his speech with tears in his eyes made me tear up as well. Among all the speculation of the various reason or players that may have caused this to happen, It doesn't mean I'll stop watching the Jazz Games. It's something I love to do. It's something WE love to do! Coach Sloan will be greatly missed. I've never known the Jazz without him as Head Coach. It'll be different to see (new head coach) Ty Corbin and his coaching style but it'll be something different.  I have great respect for Coach Sloan and his loyalty to the Jazz over the many years!

Moving on...  What else is considered the HERE and NOW? ...
Ah yes.. I just got done eating Ramen Noodles.. not just any Ramen Noodles.. Oriental Flavored Ramen Noodles. Oh the glory. Who knew that Ramen Noodles came in so many flavors?  (other than Chicken, Pork Beef... the obvious) Last week I had Spicy Chili Flavor. My taste buds practically got fired off! It was quite the experience, let me tell ya. You should totally try it! haha. I don't work at all next week. My Boss had to go on a "last minute cruse" boo whoo. (so nice of him, NOT!!) It'll be good to have a break from seeing "certain people's" faces but, not so good that I won't be getting the hours. Any-who! Since I don't have work next week, I've made a goal to make dinner every "week day"! We'll see how it goes.  There is this blog that has easy and good recipes. The link is just below. Enjoy!

Jumpin' on The Band Wagon

Hey! Melissa here! I guess I'll be the "official blogger" for us. Even though there's not a whole lot going on in our lives, I thought I'd keep you up to date with a little more detail by blogging.

Tyler and I are both working full time. Tyler works in Salt Lake at the Building Supply company and I work as a Dental Assistant at a practice in Orem. Life is busy, exciting and full of goals for the near future.

Tyler is currently working on a music project and things are moving along. We're both very much excited for the day when he can do music full time. The genre he is pursuing (at the moment) is Rock with strings and piano mixed in... (something like that) He's actually working on a song now as I'm typing. It's neat to hear him create music, purely by what ideas come to his mind. It's a crazy talent. I'm still in awe of how quickly/tastefully he can put stuff down.

We absolutely love our ward and neighborhood. We are surrounded by so many good people. Anyway, I'll write more later. I have to get really for FHE. haha well we don't ready have FHE. We just spend time together... by... watching my show.. the Bachelor... SO white trash .. I know.. but everyone has their guilty pleasures. Right? This is one of mine! I've only seen one other season and that was like two years ago...so I'm not a total addict. It's fun to yell at the TV and tell people how dumb they are. Stupid girls... I'll blog again soon peeps! Bye!
